My current projects that aren't hibernating (yet)... A baby blanket for my great niece (pattern found here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/sweetheart-ripple-2) who should arrive by 3/1 and a couple peace sign granny square afghans (see previous post from 7/2014)

Christmas time...

I was also able to get 2 baby blankets done - Nebraska for my nephew and Raiders for my great nephew.

This is a peace sign that I did to check out how complicated the pattern was. I have been requested to make a blanket. I found the pattern here: Peace Granny Square It didn't take long to complete, and after goofing on the first couple of rounds, it was really simple!
I whipped up an owl for my Granny. He's so adorable! I found the pattern here, Crocodile Stitch III: Crochet Owl but revised some of it. I used crochet thread for the eyes and did the nose as more of a triangle then working in the round. It took 2 nights to complete him. My youngest wants me to make one for her, even though she knows how to crochet...
